A life-long Kansas girl, Dr. Frisch started working at her father’s office while still in high school, filing patient charts and observing Dr. Higgins at work.
After graduating from Bishop Carroll Catholic High School, Dr. Frisch attended Kansas Newman College (now known as Newman University) where she earned dual degrees in Biology and Chemistry. She continued her studies at University of Missouri – Kansas City at their prestigious School of Dentistry, sharing an Alma Mater with Dr. Higgins. Graduating with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Dr. Frisch joined her father’s practice in 1990.
She treasures the 32 years she was able to practice in partnership with her father, sharing advice & thoughts on patients, until his retirement in 2021. She is gratified that their years of practice together created generations of patients, including some fifth-generation patients now under her care. Dr. Frisch enjoys working with kids and loves her time spent with older patients who can talk about Clearwater and Wichita history while in the chair. She has practiced general dentistry for adults and children for over 30 years.
Dr. Frisch and her husband Marc have two adult children who occasionally indulge their mother in family game nights. In her spare time, she loves to check out estate sales; spend time with family and friends; tend her garden; learn something new about the history of Wichita; and sharpen her competitive Scrabble skills.
Dr. Frisch has always shared Dr. Higgins’s philosophy of – “Treat every patient with respect” and is proud that Clearwater Family Dental is a practice where “everyone knows your name”.
